A loading bridge is a steel construction built on ramps to enable the loading and unloading of trucks and commercial vehicles. They are usually deployed at the loading ports or gates of storage buildings. Loading bridges are operated by hand or electro-hydraulically at the loading ramps. After the vehicle (truck) is parked directly at the gate (ramp), usually during the connection or raising of the loading bridge, a swivel lip, made from aluminium, is unfolded so that only this rests on the vehicle’s surface.
